THE FARM MEDIA PROGRAM

What is this Program?

At The Farm we have spent years acquiring numerous pieces of equipment to create stunning media. We are now ready to use that equipment to better serve you so we are beginning this new program.

You have the opportunity to use our equipment to produce your very own stunning piece of media.  The following are all available within this program: video cameras, turn tables to mix your own music, music equipment to create your own beats or record your own raps, video editing software, photo cameras, photo editing software, music recording equipment. Really, the limit is only determined by your creativity and drive about what you can produce.

How can I use this equipment?

A service like this does come with a cost.  Typically you would pay $100’s to have access to this type of program.  However we would like to make this available to you for much less as this type of program is usually financially out of reach to most of us.  So we would love to help you get access to these programs.

First, you could pay. We are willing to let you use the program for $50/hour if you would like.

Second, you can earn it. If you would rather not pay for this service, you are welcome to earn time in the program. You may earn credits by partaking in different activities we offer as well as ways of giving back to your community. If you attend any of the programs offered by The Farm or NCYFC outside of Friday nights and the snow shuttle, you will earn credits to use this program.  Examples of this are monthly HERO BOARD opportunities, or Bible studies. You may also do community service at pre-approved organizations within our community. Simply contact us and verify your community service will count BEFORE you do the service, and then bring verification you completed the community service.

When can I use the equipment?

Right now we do not have regular operating hours for this program. We are just beginning so we are flexible right now. We will eventually have regular operating hours but until then simply contact us and schedule time to use this program.

What types of things are now part of this program?

The ability to create and record music are now being added to what we are able to provide.

In the past we have provided filming for skateboarding and snowboarding which will now be part of this program.

Short movies can be created, filmed, and produced if you like.

As this is a new direction for us and the beginning of the program, we are sure changes will need to be made. Please be flexible with us as we work the kinks out and begin to offer a much better media program to you.
